Biosketch – Paul Petry

Paul PetryPaul Andrew Petry, Esq, Attorney
Senior Editor/Concept & Legal Analyst

Mr. Petry graduated from Yale in New Haven, Connecticut with a BA in Political Science/International Relations and later obtained his Juris Doctor Law degree from Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach, Virginia in 1993. He also holds a certificate from the University of Washington School of Law in Mediation and Dispute Resolution. Mr. Petry is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, King County Bar Association and Snohomish County Bar Association. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court and all Washington State Courts. He is also a member of the Christian Legal Society. For nearly 20 years, Mr Petry has operated his own independent law firm, Paul Andrew Petry ~ Attorney & Counselor At Law in Seattle, Washington. His specialty is family law that is particularly heavy in handling high intensity disputes mediation.

Paul’s career journey ‘into the persuasion arts’ is uncommon and of particular advantage to Case-On-A-Page which focuses only on judge and jury persuasion enhancement and argument strengthening for litigators. In his “first life,” Paul worked successfully in sales and marketing over a 15 year period where he developed and obtained effective hands-on experience as strategist and tactician while moving products for various companies, including Ionix Corporation, a highly successful water purification systems firm where he served as Vice President of Sales through its pre and post IPO transition in the 1980’s. He later entered law school to begin “his second life.”. These experiences generated a sixth sense and know-how concerning interactive and consultative marketing/sales processes and written and verbal ‘persuasion’ communications that chiefly emphasize careful listening and tailoring persuasive proposals to best meet customer needs.

With Case-On-A-Page, such marketing/sales ‘persuasion arts’ experiences combine extremely well with his legal expertise and knowledge of law firm operations, servicing law firm clientele, and preparing effective, logical and timely courtroom argumentation—while paying particular attention to the more subtle and softer aspects that are a hallmark of Case-On-A-Page services. A key to his sales success is now similarly applied in his practice of law –simplify, clarify and strengthen positions with the court. His knowledge and skill fit the mission of Case-On-A-Page. This dual marketing-sales/legal experience gives Mr. Petry a particularly effective insight at Case-On-A-Page in evaluating, guiding and optimizing client proposals as well as in advising the company as a respected voice on its advisory board.

In his free time, Mr. Petry is a family man. Married to his lovely wife Jonna nearly 30 years, he is father of eight children ages 7 to 25 (5 girls, 3 boys) and thus has limited time for his personal interests of current events, politics, reading, hiking, cigars, a little ale…etc.
