Debra Dimant, CMA
Financial Analyst
A graduate in Accounting from the University of Puget Sound, Ms. Dimant spent her first 18 years in financial services and accounting at Weyerhauser headquarters in Federal Way. There she served in numerous posts and was an instrumental member in executing expansion strategies, acquisitions, strategic plant openings/closings, and conducting audits and exploratory studies in North and South America and Europe. She gained particular expertise and notoriety in her role while leading Weyerhauser to implement new/complex Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software from SAP which is now the world’s leader in that arena. She made “a gutsy move” that worked out well in 1994 by leaving her career pathway toward Weyerhauser Comptroller to join a high tech medical automation systems start-up in Bothell as the NextRx Corporation Chief Financial Officer. Up until then, she had already been assisting the company for several years “in her spare time.” She stayed with NextRx another nine years, implemented a full array of accounting services, set up business credit lines, 401k retirement programs, employee stock agreements, equity capital, and was a key player in a host of strategic partner fund raising efforts. She also implemented one of SAP’s very first small business ERP systems. In 2004, she accepted the CFO position at Seattle Radiology, a premier radiology outsource company in Washington State where she retired in mid 2013 after completing its merger with Inland Radiology to become one of the largest radiology firms in the Western U.S.
